Bobcat Ridge is NW of Loveland in the foot hills. It was a great day for painting, the type of day that makes me know I'm blessed to be an artist. As we have had frequent rain storms, the various shades of green were vivid. The clouds indicating yet more rain to come, which it did.It rained three times while I was there, however I was nice and dry under the picnic shelter.

This was painted at Twin Sister's Lakes on a very comfortable sunny afternoon. The lakes were full with spring water runoff and many trees on the shoreline were wading in water; another perfect subject for a painting. I did, however, get rained on with one of those predicted afternoon mountain showers, very refreshing, but very wet.
